Volunteers needed – how can you help?

Lend us a skill or share your talent: –

Are you particularly good at baking?

  • Could you run a coffee morning, cake club or bring and buy sale to help raise funds for Ouest Aquitaine?
  • Do you have a wonderful garden that you would be willing to open for an afternoon?
  • Maybe you have green fingers and have a surplus of plants that you could sell/swap for a small donation to Ouest Aquitaine?
  • Do you walk, run, cycle, would you consider taking part in a sponsored event?
  • Could you organise a quiz in your local area?

Offer to help

If we are running an event, maybe you could volunteer to help us in advance by putting up advertising in your local shop, telling everyone about it on your social media, shout it from your rooftop. You could offer to help on the day – catering, running a raffle, putting out chairs, clearing up.

Attend our events

We are currently planning events that will take place this coming year as soon as it is safe to do so. Events will be advertised in advance, so please come along in person, spread the word, bring your friends and family, your support is so very important to us.

Apart from fundraising, we continue our training programme for Active Listeners and interpreters, if you would like to help us to support people affect by cancer please get in touch.
